War 2, The Sixth Film Of The YRF Spy Universe Is Gearing Up For Its Digital Debut On OTT

War 2, the sixth film of the YRF Spy Universe after his theatrical release during Independence Day weekend this year is gearing up for its digital debut. Directed by Ayan Mukerji , starring Hrithik Roshan, JR. NTR and Kiara Advani in the lead roles, the film had met average theatrical run.

The film is expected to be impress the audience on the streaming platform with more viewership in the comfort of your home.

The streaming giant, Netflix had shared an official poster of the film with the caption that read, ‘Double the rage, Double the rampage, Ready for the War ? War2OnNetflix Watch out for 9th October on Netflix . War 2 will be available in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.

The film backed by Yash Raj Films . Ayan Mukerji helmed with Aditya Chopra as the writer, had begun its box office journey to the tune of Rs. 28 crores . After a decent run and on its opening weekend it touched 125 crores. But overall, the movie could collect only Rs.171 crore net in its entire theatrical run ,emerging as one of the lowest grossing films of the YRF Spy Universe. Worldwide the film ended with Rs.361 crore.

Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR’s film War 2 had released alongside Rajnikant’s Coolie in cinemas which had performed well in South Indian theatres and overseas.

The cast and crew of War 2 will have Hrithik Roshan in the lead as Kabir with Kiara Advani who essays the character of Kavya Luthra, the daughter of the R&AW chief colonel Luthra essayed by Ashutosh Rana . Jr. NTR plays the character of Vikram , a powerful personality but chooses the wrong path who turns out to be the enemy of the country.
