Renowned to showcase the tragedy in love, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali will now direct a biopic on the life of prominent poet Sahir Ludhianvi. The director has approached the Manmarziyaan pair Abhishek Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu for this movie. The film will unfold the forgotten yet untold heartbreaking story of the poet`and his love interest poetess Amrita Pritam.
The script of the movie is still underway by writer-director Jasmeet Reen and after wrapping up the salman Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer Inshallah, the Padmaavat director will start work on this intriguing love story by October-December.
