Anupamaa loves her family and is ready to go to any extent for their happiness. She usually forgets her own needs and desires while fulfilling that of her husband Vanraj and children Paritosh, Pakhi and Samar. She takes care of her in-laws as well without expecting anything in return. However she faces the bitter truth at every point where she realizes that her family does not respect or show concern for her. Her children Paritosh and Pakhi keep humiliating her for being too simple and not having a degree. Vanraj belittles her at every given opportunity. The only people to side her are her son Samar, brothers-in-law, mother-in-law’s brother the house maid and father-in-law. Things seem to turn around for Anupamaa when she is offered a job at their children’s school as a cooking teacher. She however loses the job due to Vanraj constantly delaying her from getting to school. The children now humiliate her all the more for the same. Things take a drastic turn when Vanraj starts having an affair with his colleague Kavya. The serial is directed by Tomesh Kalra and produced by Rajan Shahi. The star cast includes Rupali Ganguli, Sudhanshu Pandey and Paras Kalnawat.
