Biography
Banita is known for her debut film October in 2018. She also starred in the Tamil language in the CW Series Pandora in 2019, produced by Adithya Varma. She also has a Hollywood debut to her credit and is featured as one of the biggest shows on Netflix, called Miss Malhotra in Bridgerton Season 3.
Banita Sandhu had first appeared in the Wrigley’s Doublemint advertisement and for Vodafone India, which went viral and got her 1 million viewers. This ad film with Sandhu also caught the eye of the film director Shoojit Sircar, the renowned independent filmmaker. In the film October, which is her debut film, she featured opposite actor Varun Dhawan. She had later signed the film Sardar Udham and was also in the British production as Kavita in the films Kavita and Teresa.
Besides the films mentioned, she also acted in the English film Eternal Beauty as Alex. Banita has also done English television appearances in Pandora, Star Stable: Mistfall and Bridgeton.
Her appearance for music video appearances were for Jind Mahi with artist Dilit Dosanjh, and With You with AP Dhillon, both were in the Punjabi language.
