Biography
Rukmini made her debut in the Kannada film Birbal Triology Case 1:Finding Vajramuni in 2019 opposite M.G.Srinivas. Rukmini has acted with Rakshit Shetty. She essayed the role of Priya in the 2023 film Sapta Saagaradaache Ello – Side A and Sapta Saagaradaache Ello – Side B. Both films were commercially successful. In the same year, she appeared in the film Baanadariyalli opposite Ganesh.
In 2019 she also acted in a Hindi film called Upstarts a comedy-drama film directed by Udai Singh Pawar and produced by Janani Ravichandran and Jawahar Sharma. Besides her, the film starred Painyulli Chandrachoor Rai and Shadab Kamal in the lead roles while she essayed the role of an NGO Girl. The film was released on Netflix.
In 2023, Rukmini Vasanth acted in the Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grownups, written and directed by Geetu Mohandsas and featured an ensemble of star cast which included Huma Qureshi, Akshay Oberoi, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Nyanthara, Yash, etc, besides Rukmini Vasanth. The film was jointly produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under the KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations Production Companies. Yash was the lead actor. The film was officially titled and shot simultaneously in Kannada and English. The cinematography was handled by Rajeev Ravi for the film.
In 2024, Rukmini appeared in two successful films in the Kannada language. Bagheera opposite Sriimurali and Bhairathi Ranagal opposite Shiva Rajkumar. She also acted in Telugu films and made her debut with Appudo Ippudo Euppudo with Nikhil Siddhartha.
