Ishita Dutta began her career from regional cinema Usually actresses prefer to begin from Bollywood but Ishita Dutta did not start from Bollywood probably because her elder sister Tanushree Dutta had landed into a controversy with actor Nana Patekar, who according to Tanushree had outraged her modesty during the sets of the film Horn Ok Please. The incident had ruined Tanushree’s career as the film industry stood by the side of Nana Patekar and had kicked Tanushree out! Hence to be on safer side Tanushree advised her sister to begin her career from regional cinema. Hence she made her debut in 2012 with Telugu film Chanakyudu, opposite Tanish. But the film failed. Nevertheless Kannada film director Shrikanth H.R. and produced by Niyaaz Ahmed decided to create a casting coup by bringing both Ishita Dutta and Tanushree Dutta together in their Kannada film 'Yenidu Manasali' but alas due to some financial set back the movie could not be complete.
