De De Pyaar De 2 is one of the upcoming movies of the comedy-drama genre. This new film is the sequel to the film ‘De De Pyaar De.’ The plot’s core retains Ashish Mehra (Ajay Devgn), who's now settled down and living happily ever after with Ayesha (Rakul Preet Singh). However, he will soon face an unforeseen twist when their peaceful household will witness the battlefield of ego and love. Inspired by the buoyant ending of De De Pyaar De, this plot picks up where the previous one left off as Ashish and Ayesha start a new chapter by meeting with Ayesha's family to seek their blessings for a happy married life.

Functioning in Ayesha's family, Ashish meets her father (R. Madhavan) who is an equal and contemporary charmer. The comedy and humour emerge as the two men wrestle for control, as tradition grapples with modernism, and the family structure morphs. Another surprise, rumoured to feature the likes of Anil Kapoor, heightens the competitive momentum.

Situated in the beautiful landscapes of Punjab, the comedy-comedy-drama meld of comedy, romance, and familial charm comes into play. A delightful disaster of both self-exploration and change ensues as Ashish attempts to gain approval from Ayesha's family.

All the while, he was a stickler for his old-fashioned traditions, compromised generations of trust, and cultural deviations, while sporting his signature charisma and wit. De De Pyaar De 2 is one of the recent movie releases that has a rare blend of romance, drama and comedy infused together with the different heartfelt and humorous moments brought to life through the pleasing visuals and a relatable storyline.
