Sharib Hashmi worked behind the scenes on MTV Roadies in Season 2. In 2008, Sharib had appeared in Slumdog Millionaire which went on to become an Oscar-winning film. Hashmi is best known for portraying J. K. Talpade in the Amazon Prime Video series, The Family Man released in 2019-2021. He won several awards which included the Filmfare OTT for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama series.

In 2012 Sharib had obtained a major role in Filmistaan alongside Inaamulhag and Kumud Mishra. He had portrayed a supporting role in Jab Tak Hai Jaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in the lead.
