Vicky is brought up in a small town. He however isn’t happy with his life and wants to make it big in any way he can. He thus comes to the big city to find his good fortunes and get a job that’ll help him make good money in a short span of time. He is lucky enough to be quickly hired by a man called Masterji. He asks Vicky to do petty crimes to test his capabilities and soon he moves him to attack his rival Jaya Shetty. He then asks Vicky to be close to Jaya and be friends with him, just so to win over his trust and know his future targets. Vicky follows all through. However one day he over hears Jaya and Masterji talking about spreading communal violence and is filled with rage and regret. He decides to not follow their orders anymore. Hearing this Masterji orders the killing of Vicky at all costs. Visky is now left in the lurch, having to fend for himself.
The movie is directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Ravi Vachani. The music is composed by Anand Milind and the lyrics are written by Sameer. The film’s story is written by Iqbal Raj. The cinematography is by Bhushan Patel and the choreography is by Raju Khan. The star cast includes Saif Ali Khan,Atul Agnihotri, Kajol,Vaishnavi, Dalip Tahil,Saeed Jaffrey,Vishwajeet Pradha, Sunil Dhawan,Suresh Bhagwat, Mushtaq Khan and Reema Lagoo.
