Synopsis

Maatrubhumi May War Rest In Peace is one of the upcoming movies of the action-drama genre. This new film’s story recounts the harrowing 18th June 2020 clash between Indian and Chinese forces in the Galwan Valley. The film’s plot centres on Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu, commander of the 16 Bihar Regiment, portrayed by Salman Khan. Babu leads a tense face-off at approximately 15,000 feet after both sides erect unauthorised posts along the LAC. With firearms banned, the confrontation devolves into brutal close-quarters combat, sticks, stones, and barbed-wire clubs, amid freezing altitude and thin air. Despite suffering severe head injuries, Colonel Babu continues to rally his men, refusing to yield, and ultimately makes the ultimate sacrifice along with nearly 20 soldiers. The film’s plot is adapted from ‘India’s Most Fearless 3’ by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh. Maatrubhumi May War Rest In Peace is one of the recent movie releases that depicts the physical and emotional extremes of high-altitude warfare.
