Arun is a simple and honest boy who is now in a mental asylum due to being falsely accused of a murder. Inspector Vikram hears his story and meets him in the hospital. Arun used to be a good student in college until he sees Sapna at a friend’s birthday party and falls in love with her. After some initial rejection, she too begins to love him. Her uncle is however greedy for her wealth and wants her out of the way. One day he sends a girl named Joyti to get intimate with Arun but he refuses to do anything with her. However she gets killed by Sapna’s uncle and Arun is blamed for the murder. Arun’s mother is tortured by the uncle and thus Arun is forced to confess to the murder. Sapna hears this and starts to hate him. Unable to take the shock, he goes crazy and is sent to the mental asylum. Vikram thus decides to help Arun and prove his innocence.

 

The movie is directed by Harry Baweja and produced by Paramjeet Baweja. The music is composed by Nadeem Shravan and the lyrics are written by Sameer. The story and screenplay are written by Karan Razdan. The star cast includes Ajay Devgan,Sunil Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Paresh Rawal, Gulshan Grover, Rami Reddy,Pramod Moutho, Saeed Jaffer, Avtar Gill, Humani Shivpuri and Reema Lagoo.
