Elan (1947)

Elan is an Emotional-Romantic Musical-Thriller Family Courtroom Drama Film crafted with excellence by Mehboob Khan. The Story revolves around the life of Javed (played by Surendra)- a kind boy living with his widowed mother after his father demise in poor conditions and sets on the oath for the sake of fortune and moved to the city for studying Law and returns village and fells in love with Nazparvar (played by Munawar)- a sweet girl and wanted to marry each other- but her sister wanted her to marry another man and her parents married her off and this leads to heartbreak- things get complicated- when they meet again but at court fighting against each other, leading to consequences.
