Anjali, played by Rimi Sen comes to Mumbai in search of a job. Not able to find a decent place to live she fakes marriage to a man named Nandu, played by Aftab Shivdasani. She then shares an apartment with him but both always quarrel. Meanwhile she lands at the doorstep of millionaire Radheshyam, played by Paresh Rawal. At that very time Jeetu, played by Akshaye Khanna, reaches Rameshwar’s house to fix his music system and mistakes Anjali for his daughter. Later when Anjali sees an ad at Jeetu’s music store she applies for the job and is hired. Jeetu starts to like Anjali.  

 

Fearing she’ll lose her job she pretends to really be Rameshwar’s daughter, while Jeetu drops her to his villa every day after work. Seeing her frequently Rameshwar’s wife assumes he is having an affair with the girl. Seeing Jeetu regularly, Rameshwar assumes, his wife is having an affair with him. There is total chaos and misunderstandings between all till it is cleared.

 

The movie is directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Ganesh Jain and Pooja Galani. The music is composed by Nadeem-Shravan.
