Amar and Vicky have been the best of friends. Amar is the police officer while Vicky is a hard-core criminal. Amar has always worked under the law and never against it. Things take a drastic turn when Amar’s father Kishanlal is brutally murdered in front of his eyes by notorious gangster Birju and there is nothing he can do. He tries to bring him to justice but false alibis and incriminating false evidence makes the case complicated and gets him away scot-free. This takes a toll on Amar and he decides to take matters in his own hands. He goes to a yacht to kill Birju but is in stead beaten and thrown out. He survives but swears revenge. Meanwhile Vicky has become a police officer and will all he can to stop Amar from taking the law in his hands.
The film is directed by Sunil Sikand and produced by Satyendra Pai. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarela. The star cast includes Jackie Shroff,Naseeruddin Shah,Danny Denzongpa, Sangeeta Bijlani,Shilpa Shirodkar,Rohini Hattangadi, Raza Murad,Anjan Shrivastav,Mangal Dhillon,Girjia Shanka,Avtar Gill,Amrit Pal,Shammi kapoor, Om Prakash and Karan Razdan.
