Raj R. wrote and directed Mallesham, a 2019 Indian Telugu-language biographical film based on the life of Chintakindi Mallesham. Priyadarshi plays Mallesham in the movie, and there are other major parts for Jhansi, Ananya Nagalla, who is making her acting debut, and Ananda Chakrapani. After its release, the movie received favourable reviews from reviewers. A list of the "100 Greatest Performances of the Decade" was compiled by Film Companion, and Priyadarshi's role in the movie is considered one of them.
