Photograph is a romantic drama film helmed by Ritesh Batra. The film starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sanya Malhotra in the lead role was released on 15th March 2019.
The movie is set in Dharavi in Mumbai where Miloni ( Sanya Malhotra) essays the role of an introvert college student who is brilliant and tops in her studies but has her own internal conflict that is within her and aspires to be a chartered accountant. Rafiq ( Nawazuddin) the man with the camera around his neck , plays the role of a struggling street photographer who is being pressurized to get married by his grand mother. He convinces a complete stranger Miloni to pose as his fiancée. They couple who pretend to be engaged actually develop feelings for each other to connect. The couple play along and rise above their melancholic lonely lives while they get drawn to each other.
