Synopsis

Gauri lives in Bharat Nagar, a small community where people of all caste and religions live and work. She takes care of the place’s cleanliness, however cannot clean the filthy minds of the people who still see a lower caste person below them and show them no regard or respect. She falls in love with Raja who also resides in the community but his mother is strictly against a lower caste girl coming into their Brahmin household. One day Raja brings his friend Bhola to stay with him. Meanwhile the landlord, asks the basti to be demolished ASAP. His cruel son Avinash has no regard for the poor and helpless people living in the community. Bhola devices a plan and asks the poor people to go and live in the landlord’s house as a revenge. However turns out, that Bhola is a twin brother of Avinash and the long lost son of the landlorn. Before they could do anything further, Bhola is murdered. The film is directed and produced by O P Ralhan. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The star cast includes Kanwaljeet Singh, Zeenat Aman, Tanuja, Anu Majmudar, Madan Puri, O P Ralhan and Anju Mahendroo.
