Raag Desh (2017)

After the second world war, the Indian Nation Army was created under the guidance of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Three soldiers namely; Maj. Gen. Shahnawaaz Khan, Lt. Col. Gurbaksh Singh Dhillon and Col. Prem Sahgal planned to take down the British Raj and thus are on trial in India. The film then highlights their addition to the INA, their struggles and how they contributed to join the freedom movement. Their lawyer Bhulabhai Desai gives the judge the best possible logic why they aren’t guilty and yet the men are stripped of their Army ranks. The film is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and produced by Gurdeep Singh. The music is composed by Rana Mazumder, Siddharth Pandit and Revant. The cinematography is by Rishi Punjabi. The star cast includes Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, Mohit Marwah, Vijay Verma, Kenneth Desai, Vishwas Kini, Vir Saxenaa, Raman Singh Rawat, Zakir Hussain, Kanwaljit Singh, Deeparaj Rana, Ali Shah, Hemandra Dandotiya, Sitaram Panchal, Rajesh Khera, Anil Rastogi, Hikaru Ito, A R Manikandan, Mrudula Murali, Kenny Basumatary and Amrita Rai.
