"Thuppakki" (2012) is a Kollywood action thriller shoot script and directed by AR Murugadoss. It stars Vijay, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyan, and Vidyut Jammwal. The narrative follows an Indian Army officer who detects a terrorist web in Mumbai and poses as an outsider to halt multiple planned onrushes.
Captain Jagadish Dhanapal, an army intelligence officer, comes to Mumbai on holiday. His menage arranges an encounter with Nisha, a potential bride, but he finds her excessively traditional. Subsequently, he realises that she is a really bold pugilist and starts to fall for her. One day an informant bombs a motorcoach and catches the man behind it. But simply before executing his program, he notices a traitor in the defence force and determines to remain alive to expose him. Jagadish manages to overcome the panic leader in the final contention and kill him after escaping from the ship blowup. He afterward forces the traitor to kill himself and return to his obligation in Kashmir, promising futurity with Nisha.
"Thuppakki" is a cleverly written action tale that intermingles nationalism, suspense, and crisp storytelling. Vijay presents a powerful performance as the crisp-minded officer, while Vidyut Jammwal strikes as the cool scoundrel. With fast-action, thrill sequences, and a strong emotional nucleus, the film is one of the most prosecuted action thrillers in Tamil film.
