Kajal Aggarwal

Kajal made her debut in Hindi films with the 2004 film Kyun! Ho Gaya Na.  Her first Telugu film release was in 2007. Since then she has acted in numerous Telugu films until 2023.  She did her debut film in Singham in 2011, followed by thriller Special 26 in 2013, directed by Neeraj Pandey, which went on to be a major commercial success, and in the romantic film Do Lafzon Ki Kahani in 2016 opposite Randeep Hooda. Sikandar in 2024, which is still under post-production stage and is currently working on the Hindi film The India Story.

Kajal Aggarwal has been a part of the much-delayed film Final Cut, directed by which was released in the same year and was well received by the audience. The film was to be her debut, but the delay was over eight years.

She was the first actress in South Indian Cinema to have a wax figure at the Madame Tussauds Singapore in 2020.

Kajal Aggarwal has won three South Indian International Awards and four Filmfare Awards for South nominations. She earned the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut in 2012 for Singham which she essayed opposite Ajay Devgn. Besides Filmfare Award, Kajal was also nominated for her Zee Cine Award Female Debut.

She is one of the most sought-after actress in Telugu Cinema. Most of her films have been box office hits.

Besides being on the top of the league in Telugu and Tamil films, Kajal Aggarwal is gradually making a mark in Hindi films as well. She had Hey Sinamika released in 2022, a film directed by Brinda, alongside Salmaan and Aditi Rao Hydari. She also appeared in Indian 3 co-starring Kamal Haasan, Siddharth and Rakul Preet Singh, which is under production.
