Prashant Bharti is a reality TV host with a big fan following, especially of girls, since he is handsome and charismatic on screen. His TV show ‘Rubaru’ is also quite popular among viewers of all ages. One day he happens to meet a beauty contest winner from Mumbai named Kiran Talreja and is smitten by her charm. Eventually they fall in love. Kiran however never really wins the Miss India title but is happy making other big plans for her future. Prashant and Kiran device a plan to use the reality Television platform to expose corruption in the country.
The duo then are successful in exposing Maharashtra State Home minister Shribhavna Prasad. Their show then catches the attention of millions more and it becomes an overnight sensation. Everything seems to be running smoothly when Prashant comes forward and announces publicly that he is contesting in the next elections. On asking he says he is mereky joining to expose the corruption in political parties further. Prashant will now have to stand his ground when other political leaders question his credibility.
The movie is directed by Ujjwal Chatterjee and produced by Kumar Sanu. The star cast includes Priyanshu Chatterjee, Neha Dhupia, Preeti Puri, Anang Desai, Anjan Srivastava, Avtar Gill, Akhilendra Mishra, Birbal and Vivek Shauq. The music is composed by Kumar Sanu and the cinematography is by Vivek Bannerji.
