Yeh Woh Manzil To Nahin (1987)

Three old men Baig, Joshi and Singh are close friends and have been through a lot of life’s experiences together in their younger days. Now however they are exhausted and don’t know what to do with their life and live directionless lives. They decide to go back to their old hometown after almosta gap of 40 years or so as their university in which they studied is celebrating its 100th year. They all have known each other’s darkest secrets. Soon they meet a young girl in the train who is a journalist and decide to help her. When they reach the university they come to know of a boy named Rohit who is framed for the murder of a cop and give them refuge. This is the moment where the three men can confront their previous mistakes and move on. The film is directed and produced by Sudhir Mishra. The music is composed by Rajat Dholakia and the cinematography is by Devlin Bose. The star cast includes Naseeruddin Shah, Sushmita Mukherjee, Aloknath, Pankaj Kapoor, Raja Bundela, Habib Tanvir and Manohar Singh
