The life and teachings of Sree Narayan Guru are the central themes of the film. There are two main subplots in the story. An intercaste couple challenges the caste system in the first plot with Guru's blessing. In the second, the wife of a drunken husband asks Guru for assistance in assisting the husband in getting back to a normal life.
