Actress Sharvari will be starring in the first female-led film, Spy Universe by Yash Raj Films. Sharvari is excited and admits the role she essays alongside of actress Alia Bhatt is going to be one of the most challenging roles in her career.

Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Lead the Charge in YRF

The actress expressed that the role is no less than bringing a fresh perspective to the spy genre, which will break a lot of glass ceilings. In this groundbreaking project, Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh will be seen as super agents. The film is directed by Shiv Rawail. The film is slated for its release around Christmas this year.  The film is surely going to be exciting as it's one of the first films where two women are leading in a spy universe film.

The first YRF Spy Universe was started in 2012 with actor Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, starring Ek Tha Tiger which had followed by a sequel, Tiger Zinda Hai in 2017.  Then there was Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer, War in 2018, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika’s Pathan in 2023 and the Tiger 3 as well I the same year.    Now is the next YRF Spy Universe film with Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in the film.

Sharvari found the YRF Spy Universe quite challenging due to the action genre which is a first-time experience for her.  She has however, done survival action in Vedaa, the film was more sleek and stylish in its action. Sharvari’s career last year took a new turn with the massive success of her film Munjya, a horror comedy by Aditya Sarpotdar alongside of actor John Abraham. She says with every success, a very high benchmark is set for her by herself.
