Bollywood star Ajay Devgn has impressed his fans time and again with his phenomenal performances. After giving us jaw dropping action sequences in his last film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior last year, the dashing actor is back with his next interesting project Maidaan. The De De Pyaar De actor will resume shooting for the film in a brief 3 day schedule in the city beginning from August 20th to 22nd. The last schedule will resume post monsoon and finally wrap up with that.

 

Maidaan tells the story of the golden era of Indian football in the 1950s. Ajay will be essaying the role of coach, Syed Abdul Rahim in the film. The film is mounted on a large scale and its huge set has been rebuilt 3 times. First two times due to the pandemic lockdown and the third due to the destruction caused by Cyclone Tauktae. The film is directed by Amit Sharma of Badhaai Ho fame and produced by Boney Kapoor. It also stars South actresses Keerthy Suresh and Priyamani of The Family Man fame. Meanwhile Ajay will also later be seen in S S Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR.
