Akshay Kumar wraps up his special Kerala schedule, directed by Anees Bazmee. Co-starred with Vidya Balan and Raashii Khanna, the film is shot in Kerala picturesque location like Munnar and Marayoor. 


Talking to social media, Akshay posted a vibrant picture with his co-stars. The shoot is set against Kerala’s rich cultural backdrop with the traditional performers of Kathakali, Mohiniyattam and Theyyam which added a regional touch to the shoot. 


Akshay Kumar expressed his gratitude. 


Akshay Kumar sporting a sleek dark grey outfit with his sunglasses look every bit a dapper with Vidya Balan in her causal white shirt and denim while Raashii Khanna looked stunning in her black dress, enhanced further with the visual charm of ‘God’s Own Country’ with the cultural performers. 


Akshay expressing his gratitude wrote nothing beats working with good people in a beautiful place. He expressed his love to his director Anees Bazmee for the madness behind the camera to his incredible co-stars Vidya Balan, Raashii and Chota Rajpal, calling them his entire crew that was very special. 


The Kerala shooting began on April 23rd focused largely on the scenic outdoor sequence. Vidya Balan flew to Kerala for the shoot. The film marks Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan’s fourth collaboration as they reunite with Anees Bazmee after 15 years. Reportedly the film is a comedy inspired from the Telugu film Sankranthiki Vasthunam.   The project still awaits an official confirmation.
