Ankur Bhatia, who gained recognition for his role as Shraddha Kapoor's husband in Haseena Parkar and Sushmita Sen's brother in Aarya, is excited to work with Shahid Kapoor in the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial, tentatively titled From Bloody Daddy. Talking about the project, an excited Ankur says, “I play a grey character in the film. It is a very quirky character, and I had a ball of a time playing that part. I did prepare a little for the role and considering Ali sir exactly knew what he wanted he was constantly helping me achieve it. The role is quite special to me as it’s something I have never done before and so I am looking forward to it.”

About getting an opportunity to work with Shahid, Ankur says, “I am extremely excited to have gotten a chance to work with Shahid Kapoor. I have always looked up to him as an actor in the films he has done and I have really enjoyed his performances. To share screen space with him was a treat. He is fun and a very giving actor. I had a good time shooting with him. I am eagerly waiting for the film to release now.”

Ask Ankur to name his favourite Shahid starrers and he shares, “I have loved him in Kabir Singh and in Kaminey. In both these films he has shown a great range in terms of his performance. I think he is immensely talented as an actor and more than that he works so hard. He is really dedicated and it is always fun to work with a talented actor.”
