Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Rohit Shetty's collaboration has been hit with the film Chennai Express. However, ‘Dilwale’ failed to capture the same magic in India, but Rohit Shetty claimed the film did well overseas. Starring in the film are Shah Rukh Khan alongside Kajol, Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan.

Rohit Shetty Breaks Silence on Dilwale Rumours
Dilwale was produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan under their banner Red Chillies Entertainment. The rumours have been going on for too long that Shah Rukh Khan and Rohit Shetty had fallen apart after Dilwale not being up to its mark. Rohit Shetty responded to the rumour over the Dilwale speculation, stating that young actors are insecure and scared of failure. He said the rumours were baseless, that Shahrukh Khan and he had had mutual respect for each other and after the film Dilwale, but it so happened, Rohit Shetty started his own production house and he made films under his own banner. He further stated, if we did face a loss, it would be entirely on me, but Dilwale was not a flop.

Rohit Shetty Reflects on Dilwale
Rohit Shetty stated that Dilwale was a huge success overseas. The film was released on December 19th 2015, and clashed with Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s period drama film Bajirao Mastani starring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. In the same conversation, he mentioned his closeness to Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.
Rohit Shetty’s latest box office blockbuster was his directorial film Singham Again. The third instalment of the Singham series. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for his next film King with his daughter Suhana Khan for the first time. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand and will feature Abhishek Bachchan and Abhay Verma in pivotal roles.
