The upcoming Marathi film Ibhrat caused quite a stir with its first poster itself. It is a film based on the novel Avadi by folk musician and poet Anna Bhau Sathe . The film was all set to release today on 21st February but looks like that isn’t going to happen. The makers have pushed the date of its release due to some controversy regarding the copyright of the story.

Satish Waghela has taken the film’s maker to the court saying the rights of the story were given to him by Anna Bhau’s daughter-in-law, however the producers of the movie have claimed otherwise. Director Pravin Kshirsagar has said that Savitri had given him the rights of the story and has also confirmed the same. However the story that Satish is talking about is completely different. The film stars  Shilpa Thakre, Sanjay Shejwal, Suresh Vishwakarma, Vursahli Hatalkar, Aniket Kelkar, Dr.Sudhir Nikam and Akansha Bhoir. The movie will release in March 2020 if the court rules in their favor.
