Karan Johar Signs Exclusive Streaming Deal With Amazon Prime Video For His Upcoming 3 Films And 4 Original Series

Bollywood filmmakers are now not only enjoying the run of their films on the big screens but also it’s digital release. While some choose any one, most are going for both the cinema experience as well as OTT one. Likewise, filmmaker Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions has signed an exclusive streaming deal with Amazon Prime Video for it’s upcoming films Jug Jugg Jeeyo starring Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani, Govinda Naam Mera starring Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.

 

Dharma will also be premiering it’s four new original series on Amazon soon too. Recently, the OTT giant had announced 40 new titles in films, series and co-productions over multiple languages to be launched in the next 24 months. After the success of Sidharth Malhotra starrer Shershaah on Prime Video, looks like Johar wants to follow a similar plan for his upcoming films too!
