Mrunal Thakur joins the cast of movie ‘Jersey’

After her mesmerizing performance in Super 30 opposite heartthrob, Hrithik Roshan, actress Mrunal Thakur is all set to romance another hottie of Bollywood. The Love Sonia actress will next be seen in the movie Jersey opposite Shahid Kapoor. The film is an official Hindi remake of the Telugu hit film with the same name. The duo will be sharing the big screen space together for the very first time.

 

Mrunal Thakur was also last seen opposite John Abraham in the serious drama Batla House that did well at the box office and was critically acclaimed for its subject. The original film Jersey has touched a cord with with public and became a huge hit. The film’s story revolves around a sports person who starts his cricket career at 30, when most retire. The film is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and produced by Allu Aravind, Dil Raju and Aman Gill. The film will hit the big screens on 28th August 2020.
