Renowned Marathi music director Narendra Bhide died on Thursday morning at his Pune home. The 47 year old had a massive cardiac arrest. He is survived by his wife, two children and parents. His last music composition was for the upcoming Marathi movie Sarsenapati Hambirrao. Actor Omkar Thatte mourned his loss and wrote, “Bhide was extremely intelligent, and always thinking out of the box and well versed with the language of music. It is a big loss to the music industry.”

Filmmaker Sagar Vanjari was to record a classical song with Bhide and was waiting for the pandemic to subside, however now he will never have that opportunity. He composed music in films like Deool Band (2015), Bioscope (2015), Harishchandrachi Factory (2009), and many more.
