Saif Ali Khan to star opposite Rani Mukerji in Bunty Aur Babli 2

It’ll be a fabulous surprise for Rani Mukerji fans who have not seen her in a while since her last release Hichki in March 2018. She will reprise her role as Babli from her 2005 superhit Bunty Aur Babli. The Yash Raj production will feature Saif Ali Khan as Bunty. The duo will be reuniting after almost 11 years after Ta Ra Rum Pum. The film will also star Gully Boy actor Siddhant Chaturvedi and debutant Sharvari.

Bunty Aur Babli 2 will be directed by Varun Sharma who was an AD for YRF’s Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. The shoot of the sequel has already begun and it will be attuned to today’s times and be more fun and energetic. The original film had Abhishek Bachchan as the lead but unfortunately it didn’t work out this time around and he backed out of the sequel.
