Last seen in Padmaavat playing Maharawal Ratan Singh, Shahid Kapoor fans will now see him in a brand new avatar in his latest movie teaser of ‘Kabir Singh’. M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story actress Kiara Advani will play the lead opposite him.
The story is based on the life of a Medical Surgeon who gets carried away into a trail of self-destruction on knowing that his lady love will soon wed someone else.
Shahid shared the movies teaser on his twitter account with the caption “Im not a rebel without a cause. This is ME! #kabirsingh”
The movie is a remake of a south blockbuster titled ‘Arjun Reddy’ and will be directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga who also directed the previous hit Telugu version. The movie is scheduled to release on 21st June this year.
