The real reason Deepika Padukone attended the JNU protests in Delhi

Actress Deepika Padukone has been in the spot light from her very first movie Om Shanti Om, giving us a balanced dose of beauty with acting. She has of late carved a niche for herself for being a part of historic movies like Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. Her film Chhapaak directed by Meghna Gulzar is up for release this weekend and the actress is making her presence felt by promoting her film as much as possible. Be it a social experiment that she shared on her social media page, dressed as a acid attack victim or attending the JNU protests. The actress is however emotional and has a sensitive side to her that made her offer her supports to the students of the JNU.

Many are hailing the actress for her brave move of attending the protests that could turn violent at any moment. Her film Chhapaak will be hitting the big screens on 10th January and will also star Vikrant Massey. She will then be seen in the film ’83 opposite hubby Ranveer Singh.
