Vicky Kaushal And Sara Ali Khan To Be Leads In Laxman Utekar’s Next

After giving us entertaining films like Kriti Sanon starrer Mimi and Luka Chuppi, filmmaker Laxman Utekar is all set with his next. This time it will be a rom-com and bring together Uri star Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan for the first time on screen. The duo was earlier to be leads in The Immortal Ashwatthama but that film has been reportedly shelved for now. The film will be backed by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films, which has also backed Sara’s film Love Aaj Kal. 

 

Utekar’s yet to be titled film will reportedly go on floors on 15th November 2021. The slice of life film will have a fun twist with a light social message too. Meanwhile Sara will soon be seen alongside Akshay Kumar and Dhanush in Atrangi Re to stream on Netflix while Kaushal will be seen in the biopic Sardar Udham to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
