Popular Punjabi actor-director Sukhjinder Shera who was in Kenya, Africa to meet a friend in April, passed away after his health rapidly deteriorated. The actor developed a fever on 25th April for which he was hospitalized and it was diagnosed as Pneumonia. However his condition worsened and he breathed his last around 2 a.m. Actor Karamjit Anmol expressed his sadness at the news and sharing a picture of the late star wrote, “We are sad to say that Sukhjinder Shera is no longer with us. He was a resident of village Malik, District Ludhiana. He started his film career as an actor with Virender's film Yaari Jatt Di. His last film was Yaar Bailey.”

                                                  

Meanwhile Shera’s bereaved family is trying to get his body back home to Punjab. However due to the worldwide covid pandemic, the procedure is turning out to be very difficult. We pray god gives the family strength to cope with this massive loss.
