Asha Parekh's autobiography, ' The Hit Girl' being launched in Delhi by Aamir Khan.

After actor Salman Khan had launched veteran actress Asha Parekh's autobiography, ' The Hit Girl' in Mumbai a few weeks back,  actor Aamir Khan launched the book in Delhi on April 30th 2017.

The Mr. Perfectionist spoke about the book and how inspirational Asha Parekh's journey has been and went on to say that budding artists of today can learn a lot from her struggles and success stories.

Aamir Khan said Asha Parekh's has had a prolific career and everyone really wants to know more and more about her.   He narrated about Asha Parekh being offered  the role in ' Goonj Uthi Shehnai' wherein she shot for two days after which the director had felt she was not the right choice .   He further added that any person in her place would have got trampled in such situation and actors feel fragile and lost when rejected like this but a top actress like Asha Parekh is an amazing inspiration to have come out of that kind of a situation and it teaches all new comers that early setbacks need not mean that you need to give up.

Aamir Khan also in his speech regretted that there are not enough books on famous Indian personalities as their stories would be a great learning to the new generations that would follow.   He thanked Asha for opening up in her book,  as many personalities hesitate to do that, and that it is important to share one's experience,  because it gives so many lessons to the people in this field.    The ' Hit Girl' was penned down by the famous film critic Khalid Mohamed.
