Kangana Ranaut who recently kicked of the preparatory of her film, "Jhansi Ki Rani' is now heading for Dashashwamedh ghats on May 4th to unveil a 20 feet poster of her look from the film . Kangana plays the role of the warrior queen in which Lyricist Prasoon Joshi is penning a poem for composer Shankar Ehsaan and Loy which will be performed live at the event. The makers of this film chose Varanasi as Rani Lakshmibai or Jhansi Ki Rani was born in the holy city in 1828 to a Maharashtrian Brahmin family.
The Award winning writer says he grew up in Uttar Pradesh and has been fascinated by Rani Lakshmibai. While the Poem is all about what she stood for and will be the soul of the film, not much of a tribute but the last line will definitely read as , ' Kab tak Aise vaar sahoge'.
The writer is still meeting the composers . He feels he is destined to do the film as he has named his daughter Manikarnika after Rani of Jhansi as he was inspired by her.
The National Award winning writer is referring to his past writings on the queen for the Krish directed film. He will also be writing the dailogues and all the songs.
