Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki (2016)

In Punjab Maninder tries to bury his new born daughter Saumya alive who is an intersex. Her mother Nimmi catches him red handed and saves her life. Soon Saumya grows up to be a quiet and meek girl while her sister Surbhi is bubbly and a prankster. One day she decides to teach a young boy named Harman a lesson. He in return takes revenge by trying to kidnap Surbhi but ends up kidnapping Saumya. His father later makes him marry her to save her from embarrassment. Soon Harman and Saumya fall in love. Saumya then tells Harman about being an intersex. At first he is upset but later accepts her for who she is and falls for her. Meanwhile three ruffians beat up Harman and Saumya severely and throw them Into the River. They both end up losing their memory. Soon they recollect little things about each other and fall in love again. The couple then adopt Soham from an orphanage. However when the truth about Saumya's gender is revealed, Soham is taken away from them. The show is directed by Pankaj Kumar and produced by Rashmi Sharma and Pawan Kumar. The star cast includes Rubina Dilaik, Vivian Dsena, Jigyasa Singh and Simba Nagpal.
