Krushna Abhishek

Krushna Abhishek is known to be an Indian actor, comedian and a television host. He is most popular for his work in comedy shows and made a name in television shows such as Comedy Circus, Comedy Nights Bachao, The Kapil Sharma Show and now is a part of The Great Indian Kapil Show and Laughter Chefs- Unlimited Entertainment.

Besides the comedy shows, Krushna has appeared in several seasons of the dance reality including Nach Baliye 3 in 2007, followed by Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4 in 2010 and his dance moves which is inspired from his maternal uncle Govinda.

He has been a host for Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega on Sony Television, OMG! Yeh Mera India, Comedy Nights Bachao on History TV 18 and Comedy Nights Live on Colors TV.

Krushna Abhishek made his Hindi film debut in the 2002 film Yeh Kaisi Mohabbat. He also acted in films like Hum Tum Aur Mother in 2005 followed by Jahan Jaaeyega Hamen Paaeyega in 2007 and in the same year he acted in Pappu Pass Ho Gaya. Later he had shifted to Bhojpuri films. He has also played the lead in television series, Sautela in 2007 on Doordarshan.

Krushna participated in various seasons as stand-up comedian in the comedy show Comedy Circus, Comedy Circus 2 released in 2008 and Comedy Circus released in 2009 where he was selected to be the wild card entry in the Comedy Circus 3 in 2009 with Sudesh Lehri.

He has also participated in the celebrity couple dance reality shows with Nach Baliye Season 3 , Kabhi Kabhii Pyaar Kabhi Kabhii Yaar in 2008 along with Kasmera Shah and he had finally won the later. Krushna Abhishek thereafter appeared in similar shows such as Jalwa For 2 Ka 1 in 2008 and in 2010, he participated in the dance reality show Season 4 with the choreographer Robin Merchant for the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 4.

Krushna has appeared as a judge in the reality dance show called Krazzy Kiya Re on DD National along with Sudha Chandran. As a celebrity couple they were popular and in demand to take part in the reality shows such as Love Lock Up on UTV Bindaas in February 2011 wherein Priyanka Chopra Jonas plays the role of peacemaker.

In 2016 Krushna Abhishek hosted and performed in Comedy Nights Live Show on Colors TV which was produced by Vipul D.Shah. It was later replaced by Comedy Nights with Kapil between 2013- 2016 when his popularity declined. Laer the show itself got replaced to Comedy Nights Bachao in 2015 to 2017 in which he hosted for two years.

In July 2017, Krushna Abhishek Sharma signed a contract with Sony TV’s The Drama Company Show that is produced by Kapil Sharma’s longtime Girlfriend Preeti Simoes and her sister Neeti Simoes. In the year 2018 he joined the second season of The Kapil Sharma Show along with Sudesh Lehri whom he had collaborated with in the Comedy Circus which had closed down. In 2020 he starred in the new show Fun hit Mein Jaan with Bharti Singh and few others.

In 2022, Krushna had launched the latest season of OMG! Yeh Mera India in History TV18’s Inforfainment show in which he hosted the season 7.

In 2024, wife Kashmera Shah had taken part in the reality show called Laughter Chefs on Colors TV which was hosted by Bharti Singh.

Career in Hindi films: Krushna Abhishek is known for some of the most notable Bollywood films such as Bol Bachchan released in 2012 and Entertainment in 2014, both of which were in supporting roles. He also acted in Marne Bhi Do Yaaron in 2019 directed by his wife Kashmera Shah. Sharma ji Ki Lag Gai in 2019 as Murli in this comedy drama along with Mugdha Godse.

In 2016 he appeared in his adult comedy film called Mickey and then in Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle in 2018 in which he featured in the star ensemble in the comedy film. In 2020, he starred in O Pushpa! Hate tears and In 2022 he acted in the satirical comedy drama called Love you Loktantra.

In 2024 he starred as Rajveer in the romantic thriller film called the Fire of Love: RED and in 2026 will appear in the much-awaited action-comedy Hindi movie, Welcome To The Jungle with Akshay Kumar, Suneil Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Arshad Warsi and multi star cast ensemble to be released in theatres on June 26th 2026. Welcome To The Jungle is directed by Ahmed Khan and is expected to have 40 leading actors of the Hindi cinema.
