Ajita Kulkarni

Early in her career, Ajita Kulkarni worked extensively as a model for a bridal and jewelry portfolio shoots. Ajita beyond her stint in the advertisements as a model is also a recognized face in the Indian television and digital space. She played the role of Kaushalya Devi in the popular television show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.

Ajita has appeared in web series such as Laakhon Mein Ek as Mrs. Gupta, and in the series Ishquiyoun in which she has a comic role as Mrs. Khanna.

In Marathi cinema, she is known for her films Dum Asel Tar released in 2012 and Sarva Kahi Priye Fakt Tujhyasathi in 2015.

In Hindi films she appeared in films like Badhaai Ho Badhaai Ho in 2002 and Whats your Rashi in 2009. She also appeared in Ada… A way of Life in 2010 and in Krazzy 4.

In Television she appeared in popular shows such as Laakhon Mein Ek and Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 and in The Last Rights.

Her most recent was her association with the Marathi project Better Half Chi Love Story in 2025.

She is recognized for her natural nuanced performance often portraying in complex characters. She has had a rigorous Marathi stage training to which she contributes her strong stage presences. Besides acting she has also worked in Rajshree Productions.

She is a celebrated artist for her work in Marathi theatre, cinema and television as well as she has had few selective Hindi projects.
