Himannee’s first acting role was playing a sunflower at the age of four! She was however, inspired by a desire to entertain and used to imitate characters from Kasauti Zindagi Ki to make her grandmother smile. Before she decided to become an actress, she was a risk and legal consultant at KPMG.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, she had begun focusing more on acting and eventually she left her job in the corporate sector to purse her writing stories and produce her own projects. She won an award for her short film, ‘ Act Normal’.

She has since then been involved in theatre in Delhi and continued to write short stories which served as a foundation for her work as a filmmaker and an author of three books.

Her digital presence came in early with her being featured in sketch videos for popular platforms like Filter Copy.

She has also been a host for shows and has featured in various short films and in digital advertisement as a model for television commercials . She worked in brands like Mobile Network, Bella Vita, Spotify, Doctor Dreams Mattresses, Canon India, Wakefit Mattresses and IPG etc.

Himannee has worked with platforms to sketch videos and has over 8.81 million followers. She has worked with big stars like Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt .

During the pandemic she actually had forced her parents to give audition to enable them to understand her work better and they ended up getting the show ! Since she was a child she always wanted to be an actor and loved the stage.

A good dancer who would dance to the Bollywood songs and act like actresses by imitating them. She soon realized the power of art that enthralled her grandmother and family she felt the power she had could move mountains.

During her school days she recited a poem and ended up singing Maine Payal Hai Chankai by Falguni Pathak and danced to that tune making it clear to the world she was a star born to perform.

However, her big break was her debut in the most recent film Ginny Wedss Sunny 2 that won the hearts of the audience . They loved her as the surprise element in the film for her adorable expression and comic timing and was much appreciated for her natural flair for acting and her unforgettable screen presence.

She makes her big debut as the adorable thief though she is in very few scenes, she is the crucial element that changes the trajectory of the protagonist’s character essayed by Avinash Tiwary in the film. Ginny Wedss Sunny 2 released in the theatres on April 24th 2026 starring  Avinash Tiwary and Medha Shankr in the lead role.
