Baawri (1982)

Gayatri and Shyam were in love and got married. They had a blissful few years and also had a beautiful daughter. Things then started to go haywire when she would come under attack of a mental trauma. Her parents always ignored it as a child but soon it became more frequent and stronger. One day things took an ugly turn when their daughter drowned in the well and Gayatri could not save her due to being under the mental attack. Devastated Shyam and Gayatri divorced and she moved back to her parent’s house. Soon on insistence on his parents, Shyam got married to another girl but Gayatri continued visiting. The film is directed by A C Trilokachander and produced by G Gopal Krishna. The music is composed by Khayyam. The star cast includes Jaya Prada, Yogita Bali, Shreeram Lagoo and Rakesh Roshan.
