Gunaah (1993)

Some fishermen find the unconscious body of a young man. The man is nursed to health and turns out has lost all memory of his past life. He has no idea what his name is or where he has come from. He continues to live in anonymity with the fishermen. After about 5 years the man suddenly recalls his past when he sees someone. He recollects his name as Ravi Soni and he was a journalist who was assigned an important task of exposing a corrupt politician named Mahendra, which led to his death. As fate may have it Mahendra was a good man who was simply being used as a pawn by some other culprits. To make matters worse, Ravi broke the heart of his lady loveKavita who now hates him and is married to Dr. Ashok who is serving time in prison. Ravi’s only goal in life is to reopen the case that went cold 5 years back. He also has to punich the people who ruined his life. The film is directed by Mahesh Bhatt and produced by Chitralaya Movietone. The music is composed by Rajesh Roshan. The star cast includes Sunny Deol, Dimple Kapadia, Sumeet Saigal,Raza Murad,Avtar Gill,Manohar Singh,Mushtaq Khan,Akash Khurana,Anang Desai,Rajesh Puri, Sujata Mehta, Soni Razdan and Anjana Mumtaz.
