Hafta Vasuli (1998)

Lotiram is a Mumbai based MLA who is involved in numerous criminal activities and is extremely corrupt. His close aid Tamancha, who is also a gangster and a former wrestler along with Lotiram canvas for winning the elections. His opponent is a eunuch named Chayavati. Out of the blue she surprises everyone by winning. Lotiram is crushed to hear this news and doesn’t know what to do. Meanwhile he is given less importance now by the people and also by Tamancha. He feels hurt and humiliated at Tamancha’s behavior and agrees to become a witness for his prosecution. When Tamancha hears this, he is furious and makes sure he will do anything to stop Lotiram to stop him from testifying against him. The movie is directed and produced by Deepak Balraj Vij. The music is composed by Rajesh Roshan and the lyrics are written by Mohan Sharma. The cinematography is by Kishore Kapadia and the choreography is by Jay Borade. The dialogues are written by Jalees Sherwani. The star cast includes Jackie Shroff, Aditya Pancholi, Madhu, Ayub Khan, Gulshan Grover, Hemant Birje, Anand Balraj, Aroon Bakshi, Laxmikant Berde and Rohini Hattangadi.
