Synopsis

Rao Saheb is an intelligent and young man who is sent to England to study further. He returns back to his home town of Maharastra as a great barrister with modern ideas and values of the evolving world. He finds that his town in India is still very backward and has no consideration for how the society around has changed. He is sometimes frustrated at people’s casual and ignorant attitude. His widow aunt keeps the house of his father and is close to Rao. One of her close friends is a young widow named Radhika and she sees very much of herself in her younger days. As time passes by Radhika and Rao become quiet close. Hi aunt thinks this is the time to break away from the shackles of the meaningless society they have been living and following and supports the young lover’s relationship. The film is directed by Vijaya Mehta and produced by Vinay Welling. The music is composed by Bhaskar and the cinematography is by Adeep Tandon. The star cast includes Anupam Kher, Neelu Phule, Vijaya Mehta, Tanvi, Mangesh Kulkarni and Chandavarkar.
