Vijay is a diligent and tough police officer. The commissioner is mighty impressed with his hard work and asks him to relocate to a place called Sonapur that has been facing lawlessness since a long time. When Vijay reaches the place he is shocked at the condition and attitude of the cops there. He decides to make many changes for good. Soon he meets with a young woman named Shanti who tells him about a treasure she is seeking. He decides to help her out and in the process both fall in love. The lovers will have to go through many challenges and also a gang
of dacoits who will not stop at anything. The film is directed and produced by Raveekant Nagaich. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri and the cinematography is by M A Hafeez. The star cast includes Raj Babbar, Smita Patil, Ranjeet, Kader Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Paintal and Leena Dass.
