Filmmaker Mayur Madhukar Shinde is all set to bring his Marathi directorial debut film Babu to the audience. The lead actor of the film Ankit Mohan recently took to his social media page to announce the commencement of the film’s shoot. Sharing a series of BTS pictures from the film’s set he wrote, “BABU is ready to roar ….!!! After facing tough situation and long wait we are good to go .. Day 1 Please shower your love & blessings Very soon will share all excited news related to the project.”


Ankit last enthralled his fans in the Marathi period drama Farzand. He is back to entertaining the audiences with another interesting film with action-drama Babu. The latter is directed by Mayur Madhukar Shinde and also stars Neha Mahajan and Ruchira Jadhav in crucial roles. Ankit has previously been part of films like Mann Fakiraa, Farzand and Fatteshikast.
