French President Emmanuel Macron Gave An Unexpected Tribute To Indian Cinema With His Desi Playlist From Dhurandhar Track

Featuring Na De Dil Pardesi Nu, the title track of Dhurandhar , the French President gave his tribute to the Indian cinema after he had wrapped up his visit to India, Macron shared a heartfelt montage thanking our country for its warm hospitality. What truly grabbed the attention of the desi was the track from the blockbuster film Dhurandhar playing in the background.

The Dhurandhar has set a new trend in the global zone from trending internally to streaming platforms, it’s in news creating a sparking buzz in Karachi streets. The film’s popularity knows no border and with the French President subtly bringing the track of Dhurandhar in the spotlight the film has hit a new high!

Macon’s three-day visit to India had a star-studded Mumbai stop. 

The French President Emmanuel Macron’s three-day visit to India which began on the 17th of February at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.  He was accompanied by First Lady Brigitte Macron who attended the AI Impact Summit before he headed to Mumbai. 

While the couple stayed in Mumbai in the last leg of their visit to India, they met some of the Bollywood’ finest stars over a special luncheon. Those celebrity who were present included Shabana Azmi, Anil Kapoor, Zoya Akhtar, Manoj Bajpayee, Richa Chadha . Discussions revolved around the Indian cinema, the culture and the global collaborations.  Videos of Macron’s visit in Mumbai went viral. 

Dhurandhar: The Revenge set for the Eid 2026 

Meanwhile excitement is building up for the sequel of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the part 2 slated for its release on March 19th 2026.  The film will see the return of Hamza essayed by Ranveer Singh alongside Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and R. Madhavan who will reprise their roles.

Fans can’t wait to see the part 2 unfold after the death of Rehman Dakait which was originally portrayed by Akshaye Khanna.   Will Hamza rise as the new Sher-e-Baloch in the sequel? 

Dhurandhar hit up as a blockbuster with the top rating and collections at the box office and the sequel is gearing up for the bigger box office of the year but it has the locks horns with Toxic: A Fairytale for the Grown Ups. Both releasing on Eid.
